FREE COMPUTER EDUCATION

Sikhs4All Foundation provides free Computer Education to all needy children. We have Computer Centers with latest Infrastructure at different localities of Jammu

The very first initiative of the Foundation was establishment of Computer Centre at Main road Gadigarh opposite J &K Bank near Karan Bagh Chowk Jammu, J & K, India. A State-of- art computer centre with 15 latest computers and high speed Broadband Connection for Internet access was established on Main Road Gadigarh which was inaugurated in January 2016. The centre had a classroom for theory classes and a mini Library. Till date more than 1000 students from Grade 5 to university students have already been trained and have completed the basic computer courses of 40 days duration, three months and six months. Apart from these students some housewives, senior citizens and a few persons above forty years of age have learnt Computer Basics.

Besides Computer education, some skill development classes like TALLY accounting course, English learning classes were also conducted at this computer centre.

After successful functioning of Computer Center at Gadigarh, Jammu India for two years another Computer Centre was established at Dablehar, R S Pura, Jammu J & K India in January 2018 with the same type of facilities / infrastructure. More than 100 students have already completed three months / 40 days computer Basic courses at this centre. Separate faculty has been engaged for running this Computer Centre.

With the grace of almighty, Sikh4All Foundation was thriving to expand its sphere of free computer education to needy and deserving children in other localities as well and with these efforts one more state-of-the-art Computer Center has been established at Digiana Jammu in the premises of Gurdwara Sahib. This Centre is very well located on National Highway and is a spacious place with a big class room, computer lab having 20 Computer Stations, Office cum meeting room, a library and ample reading space for students. There are more than 20Reading Stations where equal no of students can sit and do book reading or they can use their own laptops for research work or downloading information through internet. Each Reading Station has been provided with Power Switch, LED light for proper illumination of the reading area and LAN Connection for internet connectivity. Students preparing for routine academic exams, competitive exams / Research Scholars etc. who need quiet and isolated place for reading will be able toenrol themselves in this centre and get the maximum benefit from the infrastructure developed by Sikh4all Foundation. In future this Computer Centre will have large LED in meeting room, a Smart Boardin classroom and other equipment for Audio Visual display, video conferencing and movie/video playing for educational purposes. Library books on different subjects shall also be made available.

** As of now Sikhs4all Foundation provides only computer education to students who can visit the centre by themselves.There is no boarding/lodging/food facility available.
